Terms of Service
Last updated: February 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the GrenLogger platform, including our website, dashboard, APIs, and SDKs (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you (the "User") and GrenLogger ("we", "us", or "our"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
GrenLogger is a multi-tenant SaaS logging platform that provides SDKs for iOS, Android, and Web applications. The Service allows developers to collect, store, analyze, and monitor log data from their applications through a centralized dashboard with real-time streaming, remote session activation, and configurable retention policies.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
The Service is offered through multiple subscription tiers, each with defined limits on log volume, data retention, number of projects, team members, and available features. Plan details and pricing are displayed on our website and may change with prior notice.
- Free tier usage is subject to the limits specified at the time of account creation
- Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through our payment provider
- You may upgrade your subscription at any time; upgrades take effect immediately and you will be charged the prorated difference
- Downgrades (switching to a cheaper plan or from annual to monthly billing) take effect at the end of your current billing period, allowing you to use the contracted plan through the remainder of the paid cycle
- Upon downgrade, data retention limits adjust to the new plan. A configurable grace period (currently 7 days) is provided before logs exceeding the new retention limit are permanently deleted. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to keep before the grace period ends
- Annual subscriptions cannot be switched to monthly billing mid-cycle; the change takes effect at the end of the annual period
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier
- You may cancel a scheduled downgrade at any time before it takes effect
- Refunds are handled in accordance with our payment provider's policies
- If you exceed your plan limits, we may throttle or queue log ingestion until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Transmit malicious code, malware, or any harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Store sensitive personal data (health records, financial credentials, government IDs) in log entries unless you have appropriate legal basis and safeguards
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without prior written consent
6. SDK Usage
Our SDKs are provided under their respective open-source or proprietary licenses as stated in their documentation. By integrating our SDKs into your applications, you agree to:
- Use the SDKs only in conjunction with a valid GrenLogger account
- Comply with all applicable platform guidelines (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)
- Inform your end users about data collection through your own privacy policy
- Keep SDK versions reasonably up to date to benefit from security patches
7. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of the log data you submit to the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We process your data solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
All intellectual property related to the GrenLogger platform, including the website, dashboard, APIs, SDKs, documentation, and branding, remains the exclusive property of GrenLogger.

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GrenLogger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total cumulative liability for all claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:
- You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
- Your account remains inactive for an extended period
- We are required to do so by law
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it, after which it will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
