Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 14, 2026
1. Introduction
GrenLogger ("we", "us", or "our") operates the GrenLogger platform, a multi-tenant SaaS logging service that provides SDKs for iOS, Android, and Web applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our website, dashboard, APIs, and SDKs (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in through a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.
2.2 Log Data Submitted via SDKs
Our SDKs collect and transmit log entries from your applications to the GrenLogger platform. The data contained in each log entry is determined by you, the developer. This may include:
- Log level, message, and custom metadata you attach to each entry
- Timestamps and session identifiers
- Device information (OS version, device model, app version)
- User identifiers you choose to associate with log entries
2.3 Usage and Analytics Data
We collect information about how you interact with the dashboard, including pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns to improve the Service.
2.4 Technical Data
We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, and device information when you access our website and dashboard.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process and store log entries submitted through our SDKs
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account
- Send transactional communications (account verification, security alerts, billing notifications)
- Monitor and analyze usage to improve performance and reliability
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Retention
Log data retention periods depend on your subscription tier. Each tier specifies a retention period after which log entries are automatically deleted. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, including Firebase and Cloud Firestore. We implement industry-standard security measures, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) for all API communications
- Dynamic SSL Pinning in our native SDKs to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks
- Encryption at rest for stored data
- Role-based access controls and authentication
- Regular security audits and monitoring
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Google Cloud Platform / Firebase — infrastructure, hosting, authentication, and data storage
- Polar — subscription billing and payment processing
These providers have their own privacy policies governing the data they process on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
7. GDPR and Your Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
- Portability — request an export of your data in a portable format
- Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data
- Objection — object to data processing based on legitimate interests
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
Our website and dashboard use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party analytics cookies may be used to understand aggregate usage patterns; these do not identify you personally.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
